■Scholarships for International Students
Goal of Scholarship
Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO), Private Companies, Private Organizations and Japanese Government (Monbukagakusho) provide various scholarships for Privately Financed International Students who are having difficulty with their studies due to economic reasons.
■Attention to apply
Scholarships by Private Foundations are University Nomination. Students have to make sure that before submitting their applications to the foundation providing a scholarship, students must first go through the office in charge of scholarships.
At first, students submit the documents necessary for application to the office. Then the university sends the documents to the scholarship foundations. (The university has nothing to do with selection.)
**The lists of Scholarships by Private Foundations are classified into the following.
■Government Scholarships
Japanese Government (Monbukagakusho: MEXT) Scholarships are dealt with separately from the Scholarships by Private Foundations. The Government Scholarships offered by MEXT will be posted on bulletin board. Please make sure to check it often.
**Information of all scholarships will be posted on the bulletin board.
