International Consortium for Universities of Education in East Asia

The functions of the International Consortium are :

To advance international collaborative research on teacher education
To arrange a structure among universities and colleges of education in each East Asian country to advance international collaborative research concerning issues in teacher education
To promote international exchange among students who aspire to become teachers
To construct various forms of student exchange systems for universities and colleges of education, and strengthen the international sensibilities of students who will become teachers in the future
Mutual exchange of university of education faculty
To arrange a structure for mutual exchange of university faculty on an East Asian scale, and contribute to the improvement of mutual education
To advance projects which contribute to the development of education in East Asia
In conjunction with the mutual exchange and collaborative research systems among universities and colleges of education, this International Consortium will further strengthen cooperation among universities in the East Asian region as one concrete measure.
