Tokyo Gakugei University decided to close the Research Center for Education
in the Next Generation on March 31, 2022. This website will be maintained
for the time being.
The Center was established in April 2019 by consolidation of the Curriculum
Center for Teachers and the Department of Teaching Practice and Guidance,
the Center for the Research and Support of Educational Practice, and transfer
of staff from the Center for Teacher Education Development through partnerships.
Our English name was the Curriculum Center for Teachers during the 2019/20
academic year. We start to use new one such as the Research Center for
Education in the Next Generation from April 2020.
Mission
The Center undertakes research on issues of school education and teacher education with an eye toward a new era, cooperating with the university’s faculties, graduate schools, and affiliated schools and kindergartens, as well as public schools. It is also engaged in supporting education-related organizations, including the provision of professional information.
