International Consortium for Universities of Education in East Asia Formation Meeting
(Dec. 18, 2009) (Sponsored by Tokyo Gakugei University)
The International Symposium on the Teacher Training System in East Asia, which began at the initiative of Tokyo Gakugei University, has been held each year since FY2006. At this Symposium, preparations were built up toward the formation of the International Consortium for Universities of Education in East Asia as a core organization. The International Consortium for Universities of Education in East Asia was then formed on Dec. 18, 2009 by participating colleges and universities of education in the East Asian region for cooperation and the smooth promotion of mutual international exchange programs.
