あの話題の本『日本再生のための「フランB」』（左、集英社新書）の著者・兪炳匡先生（早稲田大学教授）と、『プエルトリコのディアスポラ劇作家によるプラグマティックな解放と政治』（ミシガン大学出版）の著者・Dr.Jon Rossini（カリフォルニア大学デーヴィス校准教授.Theatre and Performance Studies）のご来校によるワークショップ開催。

開催趣旨：
　医療サービスにアクセスする際に遭遇し得る言語的・文化的障壁に対処する方法を、即興劇の手法を通じて学ぶことを目的とするこのワークショップは、日常生活で遭遇する問題を改善するため、対話のスキルを向上するために、即興劇を道具として用い、最終的に個人の行動変容を目指すものです。2019年以来、カリフォルニア大学や早稲田大学等で、本ワークショップや「健康教育プログラム」を開発し主宰する早稲田大学のYOO（兪炳匡）教授と、本ワークショップをYOO教授と共同開発し、日本学術振興会の招聘研究者として早稲田大学に滞在中のカリフォルニア大学のRossini准教授からの実演指導とコメントを頂く貴重な機会になります。どうぞふるってご参加下さい。

The specific objective is to learn how to deal with linguistic and cultural barriers that may be encountered when accessing healthcare services through improvisational theater techniques. This workshop will be useful as a rehearsal for intervening in the future, whether in Japan or abroad, when you encounter someone who is having trouble due to such linguistic or cultural barriers. You could also learn how to improve the situation through effective dialogue when you yourself are faced with a difficult situation due to language or cultural barriers.

＊This workshop was conducted by Prof. YOO who has the experience of implementing similar workshops that use improvisational theater as a tool to improve problems encountered in daily life, improve dialogue skills, and ultimately change individual behavior at universities such as the University of California and Waseda University since 2019. On the day of the workshop, we will receive comments from Associate Professor Rossini of the University of California, who jointly developed this workshop with Professor YOO and is currently staying at Waseda University as a Fellow of Japan Society for the Promotion of Science.
