その5 環境学習プログラム

 The project assembles all student field environmental learning activities, that we have developed to date, and reorganizes our environment-related curriculums in collaboration with local communities with a special focus on exploratory learning. In the project curriculums at the sophomore and junior levels, students collaborate with local stakeholders and participate in local experiential learning, problem-finding learning, and exploration of local resources. In addition, students work on local revitalization and support of environmental learning using the deliverables produced in the project curriculums.

■ 2005 Academic Year
 Two organizations, The Committee for Environmental Learning Promotion in Collaboration with Local Communities, which promotes this project, and The Committee for Evaluation of Environmental Learning Activities in Collaboration with Local Communities, which conducts evaluations of this project, will be placed within the campus. Five teams of teachers will be organized to conduct project curriculums and comprehensive exercises and plan and prepare for concrete activities in the following years.

■ 2006 Academic Year
 “Basic” project curriculums will be offered in the first semester and “applied” curriculums will be offered in the second semester. Teams of teachers who will be involved in the new project curriculums and comprehensive exercises in the next year will be organized to plan and prepare for concrete activities in the following years. Overall evaluation of the project will be conducted at the end of the academic year.

■ 2007 Academic Year
 Deliverables of the project curriculums offered in the previous year will be brought into the comprehensive exercises. The deliverables of all teams will be presented in the end. In addition, new basic and applied project curriculums that were planned in the previous year will be offered. Overall evaluation of the project will be conducted at the end of the academic year.

■ 2008 Academic Year
 Comprehensive exercises will be conducted in the first semester and deliverables of all teams will be presented at the end of the comprehensive exercises. After the exercises, an overall evaluation of the academic year and the whole project will be conducted at the end of the academic year.
